To widen our services we have a joiner on site that can perform specialty carpentry tasks.
Most common tasks performed are the manufacture staircases, windows and doors from detailed plans submitted by your architect or designer.
Our joinery works carries out the cutting and supply of non standard size doors to fit special openings, lipping on all four or two long edges and the cutting of standard or non standard glass openings. We do not supply or deal in glass.
We have been instrumental in supplying replacement sliding sash and casement windows to take double glazed units in and around South London.
Biscuit Jointing
With our machining services limited to producing a maximum width of 220mm finished size (8 ¾”) we can achieve wider widths in softwood and hardwood that have been secretly biscuit joined. The boards are grooved by our moulding machine and then fitted by our joiner with loose tongues, clamped and then sanded. There are practical limitations in the thickness of these boards which are directly linked to the width required.
